Count on CRS For
Service Excellence
Clark Restaurant Service was founded in 1948 by Marvin Clark Sr. Today, we have grown from a one-truck operation to a broadline distributor of over 8,000 food and service products, employing over 150 workers. We proudly serve over 1800 customers in the tri-state area and continue to be a local, family owned business – keeping our customers at the center of our focus.
We continually ask ourselves “what do our customers need?”
--- Our Vision ---
To provide our customers with quality food service products at
competitive prices while being their most trusted and valued business partner.
UniPro Key Distributor of 2022
While attending UniPro’s Spring Conference in March, CRS was awarded a “Key Distributor of the Year” for 2022. Only 12 of the 350 UniPro Members were recognized with this award. This was made possible by the dedication of our employees and the loyalty of our customers.
We are thankful for all our customers that continue to choose CRS as their food service provider. Our team works every day to provide solutions for each of you. Here’s to setting our goals even higher for 2023!
The C in CRS
Alan Clark
Alan was born in Owensboro, KY. His family moved to Evansville when he was a young boy so his father could oversee operations there. Alan attended Bosse high school and worked in the warehouse for CRS throughout his summers. He graduated from Purdue University and immediately started his career with CRS. Alan has a passion for customers and sales and works to help them achieve success in their businesses. Alan has steadfastly maintained a presence ‘in the field’ developing relationships and helping independent operators improve their bottom line. Alan’s knowledge of and excitement for foodservice is contagious and he can often be overheard praising local establishments and encouraging others to support them.
Derek Clark
Derek was born and raised in the Tri-State area, living in Owensboro, KY before he moved to Evansville and graduated from North High School. He grew up around the family business, working in the warehouse with his brother during summer breaks. Shortly after graduating from Indiana State University, he joined the IT department. After a few years, Derek moved into the purchasing department where he realized his passion for establishing relationships with suppliers, constantly striving to better meet the needs of our customers. Derek’s 30+ years of experience and relationships brings the needed balance of quality, value, and service to our customers.

In the past 24 years, as new computer technology has been introduced in the foodservice distribution segment, Casey has been instrumental implementing these upgrades to keep Clark competitive with larger foodservice distributors. Since he works with computers all day at work, old cars, motorcycles, 3D printing, and wood-working occupy most of Casey’s free time. He is proud of the service that Clark Restaurant Service provides to the community and is excited to have his son, the first 5th generation family member, working at the business to help continue the family legacy.
